Operation Paperback is a non-profit, grassroots program founded in 1999.
We collect gently used books and send them to American troops deployed overseas. Many of our troops are serving far from home and living in facilities that provide few of the comforts of home. At the end of the duty day, the opportunity to escape into a good book is welcomed. Every week we receive thanks from troops who are glad to be appreciated and remembered. Our service members make sacrifices every day for our country. It takes so little to let them know that we appreciate what they are doing for us. When you join in Operation Paperback, you will let our troops know that you support them, and you have not forgotten them.

Thank you all for the boxes of books. Thank you Sherry Higginbottom from the Community Coalition of Little River. We are thankful for your gracious donation of books. Our unit has a library tent that is getting well stocked with great books thanks to all of your hard work and effort.

Hey yall,
A big thanks for the books! I am not sure if I have written you guys back yet but you all are the only people from the South that have sent us anything. All the care packages seem to come from the Southwest or Northeast! Are you South Carolina or Clemson fans?
SEC football is huge in our unit. We are based at Fort Campbell, KY...right on the Tennessee/Kentucky border. 1/2 of the base is actually in TN, the post office just happens to be in KY.
Anyways, here are some photos from me. Hope you enjoy em.
Very Respectfully,
Nick Craig

I know it's been a while since I contacted anybody to thank you for all your support through our deployments (husband and I). We have been pretty busy but we are doing great even though we are away from each other. Attached you will find some pictures of what we have done. Thanks for all your help.
