The Community Coalition of Little River (CCLR) joined the SCDOT
ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY Program on July 29, 2007, adopting
Rte. 17 Little River from Rte. 90 to Baker Street.
We appreciate our volunteers and always welcome new volunteers to be on our roadside pick-up team. Donate just about an hour, get a little bit of exercise, share neighborly time together with old and new friends, and have some fun while beautifyng our Little River roadsides. Pick-up events are scheduled for four times per year, usually on a weekend morning. Safety and pick-up equipment are provided.
Anyone interested in participating in future events may e-mail: co-chair@cclittleriver.com and request to be put on the Adopt-A-Highway CCLR Team - you will receive a personal notice of scheduled pick-up events. Or just keep checking our website for posted events! Everyone is welcome and encouraged to volunteer. Our pick-up events are both rewarding and fun!
